The last week of term in Year 3!

It has been an amazing term and so lovely to see all the Year 3 children settling into Junior school so well.

After a successful two weeks of learning about Angels and the nativity story it was great to show it all off at the Christmas Market on Tuesday.  Charlotte’s Chocolate Tombola was a huge hit with everyone and sold out before the end of the market!  On Wednesday we relaxed with a little bit of sewing after such a busy day on Tuesday.  We completed our Christmas angels and hope that they now look beautiful hanging on your Christmas trees.  Thursday was all about special books and why the Bible is special to Christians which we already knew a lot about from our very successful visit to St Michael’s Church last week.

Finally Friday arrived and we were very excited about our Christmas party.  We ate our snacks, played games and danced along to ‘Just Dance’ on the Wii!  A great time was had by all!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year from all the team in Year 3.  We look forward to seeing your children again on January 7th 2013.

Please don’t forget our Chinese Dragon Celebration on Tuesday 8th January at 2.00 pm, which you are all invited to, and to let your child’s teacher know if your child has any allergies to Chinese food!
