This week in Year 5 (w/b 11th Feb) . . . .
The children are excited about presenting their magical learning to you on Tuesday 26th February at 2.15. In science, we have been investigating the magic of irreversible changes and how they can be very useful to us every day. We have been working hard to improve our strategies for solving division problems and what to do with remainders! We have also been learning about Malala Yousafzai, the teenager who was shot on her way home from school in Pakistan. This event showed us how many children’s rights, as laid out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), are being denied.
There is not any homework for the holiday. Thank you all for your hard work, have a lovely break.
