Living Rainforest trip in Year 4…

Year 4 had a fantastic trip to the Living Rainforest on Tuesday where we were all able to fully experience what it is like in a rainforest.  However, don’t take my word for it, this is a pupil’s letter to our Head teacher about his experience on the trip:

Dear Mr Applegate,

On Tuesday 24th September 4B and 4PJ went to the Living Rainforest to learn more about the plants and animlas that live there.

We travelled on a big, stylish, blue and black coach.  I was very excited! The journey was about an hour and I was sat in the second row of seats.  When we got there a lady told us where to go and we set off in our groups to explore.

It was busy and noisy but when we went into the rainforest we had to speak in quiet voices.  Inside the rainforest it was very hot and humid.  There were lots of plants and animals to see.

At lunchtime I played outside in the brilliant playground and I saw a brownish red cockroach on the floor!

After lunch a lady talked to us about all the animals and showed us around.  Our journey home was long and tiring .

When we got back to school it was hometime and Mummy was waiting for me.

Yours Sincerely
