Growing and learning together

KFJS This Week

A huge well done to our Year 6 pupils who completed their SATs tests last week. There's still a lot of work to do in the coming weeks, but we are very proud of them. I must also say thank you to our Year 6 team, who have put in an incredible amount of work and effort this year to support our pupils.

It was great to have Fran from IBM visit us last Wednesday; she inspired our pupils about life in the world of work. This week, we welcome Janet, who works in Human Resources for a large national company.

On Monday, Mr Taylor from Planet Sport leads our assembly, talking about our new initiative to have Planet Sport lead sporting activities during lunchtimes. Child will also be signing up for our Diploma Day on Friday morning.

On Tuesday, we have our singing assembly.

On Wednesday, we wish our Yr5/6 Rugby team good luck as they take part in a Basingstoke Tournament run by Hampshire Police.

On Friday, we have our Diploma morning. Children take part in an activity that aims to develop their learning behaviours, learning a new skill, with children from other year groups. Activities that the children can chose from include cooking, animation, crafts, knitting, football, rounders, making torches, wacky races, ninja men and rocket fingers!

Have a great week!
