Strike action - Thursday 2 March 2023
Following a health and safety assessment in line with government recommendations, the school will be closed to some pupils as a result of strike action on Thursday 2 March 2023. Although a number of teachers have declared their intention to take strike action, please be aware that plans could still alter up until Thursday morning.
School will be closed for the following year groups:
Year 4 - Hepworth and Moore
Year 6 - Hockney, Warhol and Kahlo
For children at home, a range of activities can be accessed through our website here.
Children who are eligible for free school meals will be provided with a voucher via the HUGGG system to cover lunch costs on that day.
School will be open for the following year groups:
Year 3 - Monet and Van Gogh
Year 5 - Picasso, Kandinsky and Thomas
Children in these year groups are to come to school as normal. If your child's year group is open and you choose to keep them at home, the absence will be unauthorised.
