As a school we are always seeking opportunities to bring learning to life and help children learn about things, that for many, are outside their daily experience.
When planning our curriculum we ask ourselves:
Are we providing a broad range of experiences for the children at our school?
How can we prepare the children for what they are about to learn?
Are we developing life long skills, for example; the use of technology, problem solving and collaboration?
Is what we are teaching helping children to become educated citizens and help them in understanding and appreciating human creativity and achievement?
