    It was a pleasure to have Mrs Sudha Arvind come and speak to us yesterday, and share with us all about the Diwali- the Festival of Lights. For Hindus, Diwali is one of the most important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes. Do ask your child about it!

    We trust you have had a good half term. There is a lot going on this week, as we focus on our learning behaviour of 'Responsibility'. We'll also be learning about the Diwali Festival, as celebrated by Hindus.

     

    Monday: Year 3 trip to Windsor Castle; Year 6 off on PGL residential; Miss Dunn talks to us in assembly about responsibility.

    Wednesday: Bags2School Collection – please bring in your old clothes and fabrics to raise money for our school!; Sudha Arvind speaks to us about Diwali, the Festival of Light.
