We will be marking 100 years since the end of World War One in a special whole school project, taking place 29 October to 9 November. You can find out more here.
Join us at 2.30pm on Friday 9 November to see the children's work and then meet at our poppy installation for songs and poems. There will also be a collection for the Royal British Legion.
Kings Furlong Junior School are working closely with the Infant School and Nursery to ensure parents park safely when dropping off or collecting their children. Two child designed posters have been made into stickers for wheelie bins to act as a visual reminder for drivers.
If you would like one of these stickers for yourself or a friend/family member who lives in the local area, they are available to collect from the school office on a first come first served basis.
Please remember that the stickers are only for bins, which should be put out for collection on your usual days.
Kings Furlong Schools PTA are proud to announce they will be holding a NEON disco on Tuesday 6 November 2018!
Tickets are £2.50 each, with hotdogs available to order for an additional £2.00. Further information, and the ticket/hotdog order form, is provided in this letter (which will be sent home with children on 11 Oct). Payment can be made to the school office, via class teachers, or through Scopay. The closing date for ordering tickets and hotdogs is Wednesday 31 October at 5pm.
We are taking part in 'Walktober' as part of International Walk to School Month. You can find out more here.
