X-Factor times tables
Times tables are so important for the children to learn off by heart! They help in so many other parts of maths; division, fractions, finding factors, etc. To help our pupils, we’ve started a new times tables system in school – The ‘X’ Factor!
Each year group has 6 different levels to work through before they have their name entered onto the hall of fame. The children have helped me choose the names for these levels. To complete a level, the children will need to answer all questions correctly in 5 minutes on two different occasions.
Want to do more? In each cloakroom area there is a tray of extra times tables challenges for children to take home and complete whenever they want. Or if you want to do some over the holidays/weekends they are available to download below!
