Debating Club
Our school debating club has been happening Thursday lunchtimes, with some great topics for discussion. So far, we have debated:
- if it is ever ok to spy on someone (we voted yes);
- if is is right to keep animals in a zoo (interestingly we voted no); and
- if it is right to test medicines on animals (again we voted yes).
Our question for this week is “Should sportsmen and women be paid so much money?”
If you think your child would be interested, please do ask them to see Mr Applegate, who runs the club. There are a few spaces left!
