Our themes this term follow the values from the Olympic and Paralympic games. They are:
- June 6th – Friendship (Olympic)
- June 13th – Respect (Olympic)
- June 20th – Excellence (Olympic)
- June 27th – Determination (Paralympic)
- July 4th – Courage (Paralympic)
- July 11th – Equality (Paralympic)
- July 18th – Inspiration (Paralympic)
We’re also pleased to announce that our Monday Morning Mile will also be happening on Friday mornings, too! A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Strachan for helping to make this work.
As part of the build up to the Rio Olympics, we are going to ‘Walk to Rio’. It’s only 5,722 miles! Each day, children will be clocking up miles by walking around the school and field. Our Monday (and Friday!) Morning Mile event will also count towards the total. We hope to reach Rio by the end of term.
