The YI project has been short-listed in the "2013 Guardian Public Services Awards", and has been selected from a host of entries nationwide to go through to the final
judging stage which will take place in London on 12 November.
The project trains pupils in knowing how to support new pupils who may not speak English. It also aims to promote inclusion and overcome prejudice.
Special thanks to Mrs Peggrem, who led the group so well last year. We look forward to Mrs Brace taking on the role!
