Over 50 families were represented at our reading workshop this Wednesday – it was great to see the children sharing their books with so many parents. Thank you for supporting this event.

Kings Furlong Schools PTA will be running a 50/50 Lottery again for the 2017/18 school year. Half the money generated through sales is donated to the school PTA fund, whilst the other half is split into 10 cash bonuses. Between October 2017 and July 2018, a draw will be made each month to determine the winner of one of these bonuses.

Lottery numbers cost £10 each. If you would like to take part, please complete and return the reply slip on the letters being sent home with children today.

The deadline for joining is Friday 13th October 2017.

To start the new year of fundraising, the PTA are holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 9 October 2017 at 7.00pm at the Infant School.  Pre-school children are welcome and refreshments will be on offer.

If you are unable to attend the AGM, you are welcome to become a ‘Friend of the PTA’. Further details on the AGM and ‘Friends of the PTA’ can be found on the PTA page.

Parents of Year 6 children attending the PGL trip this October are invited to an information evening on 26 September at 6.00pm.

A letter containing further information and a kit list for the trip is being sent home with your child.  This is also available to view on the Year 6 page.
