  • Ofsted ‘Online Safety’ Webinar – 31st January 2018

    Mon 29 Jan 2018

Ofsted are presenting an online safety webinar on Wednesday 31st January at 7pm. The webinar will be presented by Lorin LaFave and HMIs Daniel Lambert and Hilary MacDonald.

Parents, teachers, school staff and Ofsted inspectors all have a duty to protect the children. During the webinar the presenters will discuss strategies for keeping children safe online, how to spot dangers, what to do when things aren’t quite right and the role we all play in keeping children safe online.

You can sign up to the webinar here:https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/6133339030076699393

A recording of the webinar will be available later.

Lorin LaFave is a safer internet campaigner and the mother of Breck Bednar, who was groomed and murdered at the age of 14 by an older teenager he met playing online games. Lorin is a powerful speaker live, and this webinar should be no different.

  • Snow Plan

    Fri 19 Jan 2018

With the recent cold weather, we thought it would be timely to remind parents of our snow plan.

In the event of snow, we will make every effort to open and will text all parents/carers to let you know our intentions as early as we can. Please make sure the contact details we hold for you are up to date. Our website will be updated regularly, but in the first instance please visit www.hants.gov.uk/schoolclosures.

In snowy or icy conditions, we cannot guarantee that pathways into school will be clear or safe, so please take great care when walking on the school site. The Junior School gate leading onto the playground will remain locked during snowy weather. Entry will therefore be via the Infant School gate further up the hill, or from Upper Chestnut Drive.

  • URGENT – TEACHERS 2 PARENTS MESSAGING APP

    Wed 17 Jan 2018

A few parents are having problems with the APP whereby they see a notification but can’t see any messages in the APP.  If you are having this issue please delete the APP and when the problem has been fixed we will notify parents and they can download the APP again.

Apologies for this problem – the company apologies too and are trying to resolve it asap.  Thankfully the majority of parents are not having any issues
