The whole school were thoroughly entertained by ‘The Story that wrote Itself’ today. As well as being fascinated by the plot, the actors helped the children bring their own stories to life. Well done Sammi (Y6) who stepped in to help the actors.

A huge thank you to everyone in Year 3 for sporting mad hair on Friday 15th February, in support of St Michael’s Hospice. We raised £46.50! Well done!

Remember, you can now pay in advance for dinners and trips- just send the money in a named envelope, and what the money is for. Our on-line payment system is available soon, too.
By popular request we are introducing stage 1 of a new dinner money /trip payment system starting Monday 11th February. You will then be able to pay in advance, weekly/fortnightly/monthly etc. by cash or cheque. We ask that you send money in on Mondays in an envelope marked with your child’s name, class and what the money is for! Look out for Stage 2 – online payments, coming soon!
We are continuing to use additional ways to communicate between school and parents. Due to strong demand, we would like to offer an email service. We had hoped to use our school website as a way of emailing letters to parents, but unfortunately the system has had technical problems. Therefore we are now using the emailing system from Teachers2Parents. If you would like to receive letters via email, please send an EMAIL to the address below to help us set the system up. Please include your child/ren’s name and class.

Please note that if you did sign up for the initial system, you WILL need to sign up again, sorry!
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
A case of Scarlet Fever has been reported to us. We do not wish to alarm you but please be aware of this if you or your child have a rash, as it is contagious and can be harmful if left untreated.
Just a reminder that now the snow has disappeared, children need to be wearing school shoes only. Please do not send you child in trainers or any other unsuitable footwear. Thank you
