Well done yellow team, who won the world cup today, following several successes during the week. And special thanks to Mr Hanson for organising it all.
What a memorable sports day! Well done to red team for winning the overall competition, and to all of our winners of the races. Thank you to everyone for helping to make it a success, despite the rain and thunder. A particular thanks goes to Mrs McClure and Mr and Mrs Lamont for arranging and cooking the BBQ. Well done. Enjoy the photos!

We hope you’ve had a great bank holiday weekend!
This week we’re thinking about creativity. Many people think you are just born with it, but it is certainly something that can be developed, and comes in all shapes and sizes.
Look out for the HMI report that will be coming home on Tuesday. We’re pleased with the progress we are making, and HMI report that we are taking ‘effective action’.
Don’t forget, you can help your child practice their times tables by downloading resources for X-Factor here.
Finally, a reminder that Y6 workshops are on tomorrow. We wish the Y6 pupils all the best in their SATs next week!
Why not start your week with a burst of energy? Come along and walk, skip, jog or even sprint a mile on Monday mornings. This club is open to everyone and no reply slip is needed. Just turn up. You can even get your parents to join in too. Look out for Mr Hanson by the playground gate on Monday mornings at 8.30am. You will have enough time to complete a mile (a few times around the field). If you are ‘running’ late, you can join in and run half a mile instead!
Kathy Gare (Parent Support Advisor) will be running a Triple P group over the next term.
