KFJS Football Tournament
Thu 13 Mar 2014Well done to our 24 footballing stars, who took part in a tournament in Southampton yesterday! The games were the first ones played against other schools, and the pupils represented our school well due to their sportsmanship, behaviour and abilities. We are all very proud of them. We didn't win this tournament, but there's certainly more to come. Watch this space! A special thanks to Miss Sheppard and Mrs Harris who made the event possible, as well as the families who came along to watch.

Year 6 SATs evening
Mon 03 Mar 2014On Thursday 13th March, at 6pm, we will be holding our SATs information evening. Useful for all parents, it will give you a better understanding of what the tests in Year 6 involve, and how you can help your children prepare. It will be finished by 7PM, at the latest. Children are welcome to attend.

Tuesday: Parents Evening, 4-7pm. Kathy Gare, our Family Support Worker, is available to chat to!
Wednesday: To celebrate World Book Day, staff will be sharing parts of their favourite books during assembly.
Thursday: World Book Day activities in class; Parents Evening, 4-7pm.
Friday: Celebration Assembly; Year 6 photo for Gazette- smart uniforms please!

Reading FC tickets!
Mon 24 Feb 2014Ticket order forms for Reading FC v Derby County FC on Saturday 15th March are now available from the school office. All ticket sales raise money for school funds. If you would like to order the deadline is Friday 28th February. Once ordered, tickets will be sent to your home address or available to collect from the box office.

Family Library
Thu 13 Feb 2014Family Library is now held on the first Wednesday of the month 3.15 – 4pm. Kathy Gare, our Parent Support Advisor will be joining us. Come along for a coffee and enjoy our library books with your child.
