In July 2015 and September 2015, over 20 parents, pupils,  governors, architects and designers met to discuss the ’bigger picture’ of the whole joint school environment and the buildings and the grounds for each school. You can read the reports on the Latest News Documents page. A huge thank you to everyone that took part, especially our pupils who presented so well in front of the adults.

Our British Values launch week was a success! The children took part in various activities to learn more about democracy, liberty, mutual respect, tolerance of others and the rule of law.

Thanks goes to John from the Samaritans Shoebox Appeal for picking up some of the donated boxes. Keep them coming!
It was great to have our CSPOs speak to us about what they do, keeping safe and keeping the law, and how to make the most of fireworks night!
This week, our theme is one of the British values- “Mutual Respect”. Please do join us on Wednesday for our Remembrance Assembly at 1:10pm for 20 minutes. We look forward to diploma on Monday Morning. Have a great week!

  • Graffiti Art Vandalism

No, it’s not damage to our school! Rather it’s fantastic art work that our Year 6 pupils have created to help them debate crime, punishment and art with regards to vandalism!

Resilience is the theme our week. It's one of our hardest and most important learning behaviours.

In assembly tomorrow, we'll be learning about Young Carers, who are amazing children in our own school who show resilience at home by looking after a parent or sibling who may have a variety of needs. Find out more about the Basingstoke Young Carers group.

Year 5 Bike-ability is this week. Please do ensure your child brings a helmet, walks their bike on school grounds, and locks their bike up securely if leaving it at school overnight.

It's also Walk to School week – this includes cycling! We want to encourage our children to be healthy and active. There are some fantastic badges to win!

Finally, our 2 Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) take part in training on Friday. This is all part of our school effort to further improve road safety and knowledge for pupils and parents.

    Have a great week!
