Y4 gave an inspirational performance of recorders to their parents. They performed 3 beautiful songs to perfection. Recorder Club is going to be heavily subscribed next year!

Year 6 Graduation Ball
Fri 19 Jul 2013On Thursday, our Year 6 pupils took part in a well deserved graduation ball. It was a fantastic evening, and our pupils really made an effort in dressing up. Their behaviour was brilliant throughout, and it was certainly a memorable evening. Thank you to everyone who made it such a success!

Money raised for heroes and pupils
Fri 19 Jul 2013Everyone in our community has been so generous recently!
At our recent Year 6 "WWII" play, over £97 was donated by our audience, which is all going to the military charity 'Help for Heroes' – as chosen by our pupils.
Our disco on Tuesday raised over £730, which will be split between the Juniors and Infants school. We'll spend the money on some new and modern reading books.
Finally, our Family Fun Day on Saturday 6th July raised over £2,279, again which will be split between the two schools.
Thank you for your generosity, and the fantastic spirit that these events create.

Recycling increases at KFJS
Mon 15 Jul 20132 new recycling bins have arrived at our school, and are located in different parts of the playground. They were chosen by our Eco-Team, and expertly installed by Mrs Webber this weekend. It's great to see our pupils having a direct impact on our environment; let's support them by using the bins correctly!

Reports out today!
Fri 12 Jul 2013Your child will have taken home their school report today. They are all working hard, and we are proud of them. Remember that next Wednesday, school is open from 3:20-5pm for you to speak to your child's teacher, and to look at their books. You may have the opportunity to speak to their new teachers, too. We hope to see you then.
We do also ask you to return the feedback forms found in the report envelopes. As always, we are very interested in your views on how we can further improve our school, as well as knowing what you appreciate. Thank you.

Thu 11 Jul 2013Our Family Funday last Saturday raised £2,279.04 profit!! An amazing amount. It was a great atmosphere, with activities to suit all ages. This amount will be shared equally between the infant and junior schools. We'll be using the money to purchase new books for our pupils. Thank you everyone for your generosity, and to those who helped in any way.
